Hey guys I have a 9 month german shepard, I have been training him for months. He is doing great, except in one area with distractions I can not break him of no matter what. I have a 2yr old golder retreiver when she is around he is so distraced most of our training goes out the window. He is totally fixed on her but still listens to me and does the commands bt watching her. Also he whines non stop, it is loud as if I am beating him, but never touched him. Do I keep using her as a distractionand eventally hope I ca break him of it. And how do I stop teh whinning. If I put him in the "sit-stay" and he obeys but crys and whines so I flip the leash and tell him "No" or "Quite" and correct even though he is doing what he is supposed to be doing in the "sit-stay"? Or how do I correct this constant whinning which is only done when using teh golden as a distraction.
