I just picked up my order from the wholesaler. It's like Xmas. Anyway, Cali will get some duck necks this time! But my question is...
The wholesaler had some trachea. I bought a few lbs. Now that I look at it, it looks like what it is--a windpipe. (Yuck.) Not much, if any meat on it. How do I use it?
I don't think so, I would think it is more like cartilage. Organs like liver and kidneys are full of extra nutrients, I can't imagine trachea would be.
That makes Jennifer... After asking I was thinking that liver, kidney, lung, etc.. perform a specific function whereas the trachea is more of an "access", as you said - more like cartilage. Thank goodness there is no such thing as a "stupid question" as I have to rely on that old addage a LOT.
I went to a job interview today, he asked me for 20% of 400, and I totally froze, could not answer the question and was so horribly embarrassed. He ended up offering me the job anyway, but my word I felt dumb.
back on subject...
I am trying to look it up, but not finding any references to eating trachea LOL.

But I could be totally wrong!!
Yep, cartilage was what I had wanted to call it & had a brain hickup. No, not an organ meat. Just healthy fun food IMO
