Guy came walking up to the cliff with his climbing partner and his dog. Dog was off leash, and kept in close proximity to his master/owner. Another dog wandered up, and the owner of the first dog gave the command "Easy!" His dog plopped to a sit, and stayed there, calm, until he and the second dog did that butt sniff thing that dogs do. Last I saw, they were playing nicely and having a big ol' time. Nice to know there are people out there that have their dogs dialed in just right for social settings. T'was a mutt, this dog, not a "working dog" in any sense, but the owner knew his dog, the dog knew his place, and there was a clear chain of command... It was quite remarkable to see a "lay person" have this level of control. Warmed the heart, it did.
