I actually lived in Rhodesia for 18 months ( before the country became Zimbabwe, and rapidly slid to become the craphole of Africa ) and even in those days, the dogs were primarily ranch dogs ( and yes, their ability to keep lions at bay was their most cherished trait ).
But as PPDs? Not that I saw, and I've never run across one in this country that I'd bet my life on.
I just came back from having the dog evaluated by two separate trainers and on both evaluations she scored all 1's. What do you think? I haven't made up my mind yet.
Theodore, my understanding is that temperment testing is usually done before 3 months. The Volhard page specifically states 49 days (7 week old pup) Was this taken into consideration?
