Jessica Lee Webboard User Reg: 04-16-2008 Posts: 24 Loc: Offline	Hello, My 3.5 month GSD pup broke her top right canine tonight. It looks like a bloody stump, and is broken quite near the base. I am taking her to the vet in the morning, but am wondering if anyone has any experience or advise in the mean time. Thank you Jessica Clements

I had this happen with my very first GSD, and while they may not show pain, I can assure you it is painful, especially if the dentin is exposed. My girl's ears were up and after the tooth cracked, the one ear on that side went down and stayed down as an adult, but would be erect when playing. Anyhow, lucky that it is a baby tooth, the adult is right behind it. Good luck with your pup, she sounds like a beauty. Joyce Salazar
