It eats several kinds of meat (chicken, turkey, cow, rabbit), veggies, eggs, vitamin E and salmon oil. We don't feed him with grains. Just add another ounce or two of food to existing meals--or serve an additional small meal at bedtime (or lunch time.) And/or you can GRADUALLY increase the amount of fat in the diet, which is more calorie-dense than protein. But go easy on this, increasing the amount of fat in small amounts. What kind of activity levels does this dog have? How small are we talking since you described him a a little guy?

I see him once or twice a month and i feel the ammount of fat over the ribs thinner than the last time i touched him. I think he has been dewormed very recently, but i have to check it out with my girlfriend if that's correct. His weight is about 18Kg and i think he should be around 21Kg at this time. The average weigth for the adult rough collie is around 25Kg. This dog makes about tow 30min walks and three 5-10min daily. He has very week nerves and soft temperament.
