Resource guarding aggression as described in the latest ME video - wouldn't it be the same behavior used in Flinks' Building Drive and Focus to develop grip? The dog is possessing the item and we are trying to steal it from him? ME: "we don't use it often", Flinks: "steal the toy if the dog loosens his grip".
How does ME develop the grip when he does not use resource guarding aggression or pain aggression? There is a lot of stroking and running around with the item in ME videos but Flinks does all that as well. Is there a technique that's unique to ME system? Or is the difference in the application of the same basic methods?
The dog is not supposed to roll/chew/drop the dumbbell, right? I hope very much ME would mention something like "we are doing basically the same thing when we are trying to develop the grip" or "we won't be using this technique to develop the grip because...".
