The wife called me tonight and said Meeka has a big knot on top of her front right paw. She sent me pictures on my phone . Looks like it is right above one of her toenails. Very red. Should I just moniter this? Seeing if any of you guys have ever had this problem? Maybe an infected nail. I will look it over in the morning when I get off work.
Also she has been throwing up some. I haven't started the raw diet yet, But have switched to Taste of Wild, and giving Salmon oil. Her play seems to be the same. Noticed she has been eating grass also
In addition to the lump, are her ears hot? panting more than normal? Is she getting enough fluid? If you just changed her diet, the bump could be unrelated. Is she favoring the paw? Licking? there are so many variables. Can you post a link to the photo?

I will post the pic when I get home. She sent it through message on my phone. I'm at work. I have not seen the bump yet personally. She said that Meeka is messing with it quite a bit, as in licking it.
THe throw up has been water with a brown color. I don't think its the food. She is eating fine. Hasn't lost her appetite. She had a few upsets before I switched her food. It happens at random times. Not only Meeka is doing this, But my shitzu has been throwing up also, but hers is a white foamy type. We have nothing out that they could get into. That's why I'm a little puzzled. Their behaviors have been the same. No changes there.

Only thing i can think of is our kiddy pool had some old water in it that I havent changed in awhile ( a few days). It is changed now, since i seen Meeka drinking out of it. We found a dead bird in it also. It doesnt take water that long to get bad with 110 degree days. That was my fault for not noticing it in time.
I would really keep an eye on her vomiting, eating, and hydration. Could be so many things. Are there ticks around you? Lots of tick related ills, also the lump could be an infected bite site.
