On second thought, why don't you just take the dog to the vet? You seem to be having lots of issues with her- hair loss, vomiting, now fleas. Visiting the vet really wouldn't hurt at this point.
A professional bath with something super toxic to the fleas, washed off right away(as soon as the fleas are dead!) would be available at your vet office. In the meantime you can vacuum and bomb your house, treat any other pets with an insect growth regulator -- end of flea problem. You don't want fleas on the puppies.
Plus, they can radiograph her, tell you how many pups she's carrying, make sure all is A-ok. In addition, if something goes "south" during her whelping, a vet who has seen your dog will be very available for assistance.
Thanx for your note and help.
I have bred, raised and showed boxers 15 years ago. Altough its a few years back and i was still much younger than now, it seems that a lot has changed.
Did talk to my vet, the hair shedding could be because we stay in Kwazulu Natal now and she was used to the Cape's cool weather, or to her hormones. The vomiting is much better, no vomiting in 2 days now. The fleas is my biggest problem now. But i will get them under control.
stay well and thanks again for your reply

Good luck with your girl.
Fleas can be a pain but you have to get them under control before your girl whelps. Flea infestations will give you worm problems and make your new puppies VERY anemic. So do what you need to do to get rid of them before the puppies are here.
If you have a yard you can treat the yard as well with a yard spray.
BTW if you can post puppy pics when your pups are born. I love puppy pictures.
Thanx Melissa.
Its so nice to know there is someone out there with knowledge and advice.
My female is doing fine.... no vomiting anymore and i brush her daily for the loose hair. The fleas, is still there, i will get something for her from my vet. How do i insert a picture in this site... i can see pictures of other peoples dogs...
