Congrats to the winners of our First Fun Video Contest!!!
Thank you to everyone who played along and trained a new behavior to their pups, to those who were so encouraging to ALL the trainers and who voted, and especially to the generous Leerburg forum members who jumped in and joined me by contributing to the $145 prize fund!!! AWESOME! Those generous folks include Aaron, Michael W, Connie, Dr. Betty, Lori Hall, Aimee Pocheron and Tammy Moore. THANK YOU GUYS - you went above and beyond!
All the videos were fun and inspiring to me, although I fear it will be a cold day in a very, very hot place before I ever manage to teach Falcon to spin in a big bucket! I have high hopes for bubbles however - that was so cool! If I ever get him to down while chasing ducks (or chickens and cats in our case) I will have died and gone to heaven. THANK YOU to all of you who posted a video!!
Our winners are: (insert drum roll here please...)
1. Elizabeth and Suzuki the incredible spinning dog - 19 votes!!!
2. Mara and Kenzi the amazing back up dog AND Kip the bubble blower!! Each trainer can only win once, so Kenzi and Kip get to share their Leerburg goodies! (Kenzi - 14 votes, Kip 13).
3. Lori Hall & Kasey the cutie pie Patty cake dog who then attacked her owner - 14 votes!!! (Has anyone heard from Lori since that video... did she survive??)
4. Jamie & Ruyk for the item identification trick! (Falcon and Ruyk tied for forth place with 8 votes, but Falcon is a huge fan of Ruyk's after having watched all of his previous videos and he insisted that Ruyk get the new goodies!) CONGRATS RUYK!!!
I'll contact Leerburg on Monday and see how to go about having the four winners get their share of the $145 (equally divided 4 ways) so WINNERS - PLEASE WAIT TO HEAR FROM ME VIA A PM AS TO WHEN YOU CAN PLACE YOUR ORDERS!! (You can certainly window shop at any time however!!)
THANKS AGAIN EVERYONE! I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.

Kasey would like to thank the academy and all the people who voted for him!
Never thought we'd actually win. I just did it for fun, and had to endure a lot of being laughed at from the fam. Barbara, it's funny you put in there about whether I'm ok or not - actually I couldn't wait to be done with that because my arms were all scratched up by his toe nails! Not a practical trick!
Thanks for a great contest, Barbara!! You really do rock!! And my dogs thank you, too for motivating me to get out in some hot sticky weather and do highly rewarding stuff with them just for fun!!
And thank you to all those who voted for my pups. I'm with Lori, I never thought I'd actually win. The idea of a contest turned on my (highly) competitive nature so it made training and putting videos together loads of fun for me.

Thank you Barbara for the idea and all the admin!!
Thanks Connie to you for being my "gate keeper" and preventing me from taking all the cold, hard cash and leaving the country and never being heard from again...It was hard - really hard.

This summer has been a challenge to so many folks on every level - I HATE summer, have I mentioned that before? For once the heat inspired me (as did all my fellow Leerburg buddies) to do something productive. I ALSO learned how to post a video!!! (Thank you wafghan man!!)
