So, we bought 4 7lb boxes of HK Preference and we won't be using any of them. Bought them a month ago I believe. We have decided for the time being (at least until I start working again, which won't be until our youngest child-to be born in 5 days-is in school) that we will have to cut corners a bit and dog food was one of those corners that had to be cut to save money. Does anyone need some, cause I need to get rid of them. Send me a PM. I'm also trying to sell them on a local site, haven't had any interest, partly because of the lack of raw feeders around here.

For readers: This is the meatless base (the only THK that isn't a complete diet, meant for allergic or food-sensitive dogs so the owner can use a novel protein, but also completely fine for a grain-free food using a common protein for a healthy dog).
I know you didn't ask this, but did you realize how cheap it would be to buy the meat/RMBs to add to this food? If you add meat/RMBs to it per the package (1:1 to 2:1), you have at least half of the diet already in hand. Chicken backs can often be had for a dollar or so a pound, and variety can be added with cheap canned mackerel, etc.
I'm thinking that having already purchased this base, it would be very hard to beat the price with a quality kibble.
We started feeding Taste of the Wild, for 4 bags it's about $180. That's how much it cost for the 4 boxes of THK, not including S&H. So, to buy the meat is more for us-about $100 of chicken/etc. per month.
