Does a dog goes in to the no eat zone for a couple of days? what causes that, his favorite food. Chicken, beef bone with meat, hot dogs. well he is eating string cheese, loved it. Yesterday I gave him just to try three teaspoon of strawberry ice cream in his crate. trying to find some snacks for him. Well today I might try to feed him again, oh! yesterday he had salmon from the can, I guess that is tasty. Tomorrow is training, so he might go with out today. His playing is fine, and looks fine. three days ago he had beef heart, excrement loose, but that was expected. Still want to eat rocks, go figure. So what say you? Dan

So to be clear, he has eaten nothing for two days but a little ice cream and salmon? How much salmon?
The most important questions are: How is he acting in general? Has he had poops every day? Has he had formed poops? Is he lethargic, quiet, distressed, or otherwise different from usual? Has he ever gone on food strike before?
Hi Connie, no to all those questions, he has been fine, I found the secret, That joker hid a halve of chicken one day, I usually come back in the house to wash my hands, and maybe one or two extra small stuff , before I go out to greet him and take him for a walk. That day to me, he was finish quite fast, did not think about nothing. 'Cause he is a chow hound. I found out the hard way yesterday. He did not want the fresh chicken as much as the old smelly one, so I let him eat it. Yes five hours or so here he is crying and mumbling, I got up immediately, and let him out. oh! sure ran for the place we poop. and this also happened two hours later. Well, after that about an hour we had to get ready for training, did fine, gave him a quarter leg today and watch him, then about four hours later the beef bone he neglected before. All is good. we both learn a lesson yesterday and today. Thanks Connie. Dan
