I would love to have a Loups du Soleil pup. Michael Ellis has some phenomenal dogs.
I would also not complain if I had a pup from Donna Matey's Jackson (he's an LdS pup). I fell in love with Jackson the day I set eyes on him... even before I saw him work.
I have 2 Kaiserhaus females, and love them to death. If Cindy was still breeding I would have a house full!!! Both of my girls are from the Aera van Joefarm X Turcodos van de Duvetorre litter.
Thanks. I did a quick search on Bogan, and found out about "Les Ombres Valeureux" in California. I did not know about them. I am getting a puppy in 3 weeks from a breeder in South Texas. Most likely that dog will just be pet quality. I am already searching breeders for my next dog, which I am planning in getting in a year or 2 from now. I will want that one to be a Mondio ring prospect.

Steve has his own small breeding program with Bogan. Debbie Skinner is the breeder for Les Ombres Valereux and I do like the dogs that come from her a lot. I can tell which dogs are out of her lines at a trial too, even if I don't know them. I've always loved the way they work and her kennel is pretty well respected in the working dog world from what I know, aside from the ringsport drama that goes on. Steve produces great dogs too, and I like the female he has as well as Bogan.

I'm not a breeder, but I think only a few generations back.
The dog is 50% of each of its parents, and 25% of each of it's grandparents, and so on.
eta. If the individual dog is known to produce him/herself, that's really what makes it significant in a pedigree. Not just the kennel name showing up. Remember that even if a dog comes from the most world renowned breeder, it still goes down to the individual animal and what kind of offspring it produces. At least IMO.
