Has anyone ever entered this? I have two friends doing it tomorrow. It sounds very exciting. I can't seem to find inof about it on line. The only thing I find is a snowmobile race. My friend said it involves the dogs swimming and running I think.
I found it here is a link. http://canine2.freewebspace.com/ I don't think my dogs would be up to it though. ONe friends's got GSD's and the other has a Dutch SH. Actually I don't think I'm up for it. It will be fun to watch though.
unfortunatly I'm a little far away XD but seriously...is it just like a race with obstacles for you and your dog? I wonder how we'd do....maybe I'll try to find myself in the area next year....
From the looks of it the owner need to train as well. I think I would get stuck under the crawling part. And I'm not a big fan of walking around in wet clothes...(sigh) maybe I'll be fit next year....
The competiton goes by age group, they go by the person's age. Wonder how many 44 year olds will be there next year. Hopefully they'll all have breaking down body parts like me
Eek there's those american bullies, I'm not a fan of that science experiment at all.. My friends said it(this Iron dog) was really fun they got 1st,1st and 3rd. It was 1.5 miles they had to run ,crawl ad go through water. They said the water wasn't bad. They even had to shoot at a target. I don't know how well I'd do at that. I'm pretty sure I'm doing it next year,my friends said it's not that hard and it's for a really good cause.
