My dog was sleeping in is stall, when a horse (one of the boarder)got loose and step on his right hind paw.
He yelp and now is limping or hoop on 3 legs when he gets up but warm up to just a limp.
I can touch his paw, press, pull and move every toes. He will just pull back a bit.
No swelling or heat.
Did he broke his paw or is it just bruise.
To my knowledge broken bone don't warm up.
I don't want to go to the vet right a way, as they seem to put every leg problem in a cast.
It seem like I have a bad luck with my dogs paws lately

You need to take your dog to a vet. There is no way to diagnosis this over the internet and there is a lot more that can happen as the result of a crush injury than just a broken foot.
It's possible they may just say lucky dog. Keep him quiet a few days and he'll be fine, just some bad bruising. Or it could be much more serious. Expect an X ray at minimum.

Well, what they want comes second to what you approve. I would want an x-ray, and if there was a broken weight-bearing toe, I would want the cast or splint or whatever was needed. And if there is no break, then you are the owner and you ask for suggested treatment, but YOU decide.
Remember that a non-weight-bearing paw toe won't need a cast and often no splint either (I believe), so really, the outlook contains several no-cast-needed possibilities. But also, there could be multiple toes broken.
From what you say, I would probably wait and see how it was tomorrow. I am not a health professional of any kind, but my own personal route would probably be feeling regularly for heat (that was a good thing to read about no heat yet). If I felt heat, I'd post back here and get details on cold apps between now and the vet visit.
Keep in mind that a clean break can sometimes actually cause less inflammation and pain than soft-tissue injury, so I wouldn't decide on break/no break based on anything much short of an x-ray (unless of course I saw marked improvement overnight).
I hope Dr. Betty sees this. I will PM her.

Connie, would you be worried about fat embolism in case of a broken bone? There was a House episode where a girl died from FE caused by a fractured leg bone. TV, I know
Ariane, after some unpleasant experiences I no longer give the vet a carte blanche when it comes to treating my animals. Every procedure has to be approved and they have to explain ALL available options and long- and short-term side effects before we agree on a particular treatment.

It wouldn't enter my head with a toe break. Isn't that a long-bone thing? (As you mentioned, a leg in the case you saw.)
I'm no health professional; I've just never read of this involved with anything like a toe (paw). I'd be interested to read more about it.

How is he now?
I would be worried about fracture, or possibly dislocation of a joint if the horse remained standing and the dog pulled away with all his might. Dislocation is an emergency: fracture may or may not be an emergency.
If the skin is not broken and the dog is short coated enough that you can see
normal anatomy then you are likely safe in waiting.
(Obviously, it's best to have an immediate Xray to rule out dislocation, but if finances are a real concern, and the skin is not broken, it would likely be safe to wait. If bone is exposed the dog needs help to save the leg)

Mister was walking now on and off on the leg put still limping. Never mind he knock his nail in a doorway and he is back to 3 legs.
So he will go to the vet. Last week the vet wanted to puta cast on my other dog the riped his toe nail, just because. They better do an x-ray before saying he needs to be in a cast.
I hate this vet but so far they are the best I have found in my area. There is a very good one but they are about 1 1/2 hour away, used to be my vet before she moved.
I am on a bad luck stretch lately, one horse with a mouth ulcer, one broke a thoot, one dog rip a nail off and now that. I was happy with my 3 years of no accidents. Sound like pay back

When it rains it pours. It's just sometimes the way of things. Glad you're taking Mister in, hopefully it's just a bad bruise and a lesson learned.
Let us know how it goes. Good luck!

So just back from the vet.
First they have a new vet with some brain!!
Second Dexter was not too lame at the vet because they have those nice ruber mat floor. We had to take him outside on the sidewalk so he would show his very sore foot.
After some yanking twisting and pulling the vet could not find anything worth an x-ray. She said that even if it would be broken right at the tip of the toe she would not put even a bandage on it.Got some anti inflamatory liquid as she is queit sure that he just got a very bad bruised paw.
He must have saved his toe by not moving when the horse steped on him and by our 1/2" rubber mat.
So I hope not to see a vet for a while
