I have a small dog (MinPin) who enjoys shaping and marker training. I live on an island that involves ferry rides to get to town so subsequently we have been spending training time in the car to pass the time - she's learned crossing her legs while laying down, touching my hand and various things in the car with her nose, laying her head down to "sleep" and kissing (little lick on my face)so far.
Now we're planning a long winter RV holiday to the southern states, so I'm trying to think of other calm games and fun tricks to teach her while she sits in my lap with my husband driving. It will be on a bench seat in a truck, so there is a little room for movement.

Wow Cindy! That's impressive. I wouldn't have even thought of all those. I don't have any ideas, but you'd be a great addition to the little training contest we're having on the board!
Unlock the door would be a nice trick. The spaniel always seems to nail the automatic door locks every chance she gets.
I need to train Koenig that one... we got locked (ok, not we... I) out one Sunday morning on the was to SchH training!
Dang dog! The club got a kick out of my excuse for being late though. Said my dog doesn't need me anymore. He wanted to drive himself. lol.
