I am officially done with college. In a few weeks I will have my diploma for a Bachelor's in Operations Management.
I'm also taking some vet tech classes, and that's for another year. But that's not even like school. That's just fun. And I already know a lot of the information.
The important thing is that I will never again have to pay for a rapidly increasing tuition, fight for parking that makes me late for class, or do any stupid group projects and presentations.
I am done. All I have to do now is work. And that's freedom to me. Since I've worked my entire way through college (since high school), only working without having to suffer through three hour classes that get out at 10pm (home by 11 to do homework and study until the early morning and then up at 5 or 6am for work), will truly be a joy for me.
This is one of the best days of my life. I can now finally focus on my job, and I have MUCH more time to spend with Conan and Danni.
Sorry, I just wanted to brag. This is huge for me. Four and a half long years of this, some psych meds, and all of the effort my achy little body has in it all paid off.
Congratulations Katie! I can just imagine how wonderful you must feel right now, like flying high on the clouds.
I wish much success in your future and also with your new pup Danni! While I am at it, have a wonderful holiday season too!
