THANK you to everyone who "made it happen" during this busy holiday season to introduce and train a new behavior! We had entries from young pups (4.5 months) all the way up to a beautiful frosty muzzle.
In this, our second video contest, we also had two "Youth" entrants!! (At least two... it is still before midnight!) This is really great to see - the next generation of trainers working with their pups!
Please vote for your favorite three videos in the "elder" category and also vote for all your favorites in the Youth category.
Voting will be open until midnight on Friday, January 14th.
Thanks again for all who worked with their dogs for this contest. I know there were several others who wanted to participate but whose harness did not arrive or whose life got in the way, but we will do anther contest in the not too distant future!
1) Annelise & Bumble Bee - A child gets to the front of the line IMO
2) Barbara- for a complicated series of behaviors, go,jump and fetch
3) Ana- I liked watching the dog learn
I'd like to vote for Ram firstfor his scent discrimination with Helga and the hankies but it doesn't seem to be in the mix!
Betty,
We are going to recognize the two youth entrants in their own category to ensure BOTH receive the kudos they deserve. Haven't figured out what their prize will be yet - but will check with Willie as to what might be appropriate for these budding trainers! THANK you for recognizing them!!
I'm going to check with Ram - I did not realize he posted a video and will ask if he wants it moved to the video contest thread.
