Hi,
Ok Harley has been doing great on raw feed! His weight has been now stable!!
I am trying to incresse the amount of food but when ever he gets more then 1.5# he gets meat chunk in his poop.
I have tried more bone or meat for few days and the result is the same, small meat piece in the poop.
Poop is still nice.
Harley need to gain some weight. He is 63# should be close to 70# and almost 1yo.
Vet wants his on a corn base feed and can't find any health issues.
Any idea? Can I give him some type of fat?

Is he losing weight below the 1.5 lb. food mark?
Not sure about meat chunks surviving the trip through your dog. I'll bow out of that one.

On second thought, I do have a few questions.
When the meat chunks show up the stool is still good?
How big is the meat chunk? Can you post a picture? Something other than facebook, too, please.
Maybe a pic of your dog, too.
How long has he been eating raw?

He has been on raw for about 4 weeks.
So far he get chicken neck and 1/4 chicken legs with back daily. Beef cubes every other day. and 2 eggs per week.
I am starting to introduce liver in small dose and he is ok with it.
The chuck in the poop are small red/pinkish things about the size of the tip of my pinky so not very big and not so many of them but easy to see what it is. I will give him again a bigger serving and get picture if it helps.
He lost some weight since I got him. He had food issue before (very soft poop) but was very inactive. Now he has lost of activity. He was very hyper when I got him, now it is more like lots of good energy. He also looks better since on raw food.
I made a small mistake in the OP he get 1.5# twice a day so 3 # total.
I weigh him every 2 weeks has I had issue with the food. He was 66# when I got him in november now he is 62.8#. Two weeks ago he was 63.1. I always go to the same place to weigh him.

Now, I don't know what you call active, so I can't really comment on his activity.
2% for a 70 lb. dog is 1.4 lbs of food PER DAY.
3%, which is generally the upper end of feeding amounts, but lots of dogs do need more is 2.1 lbs.
With your dog weighing 63 lbs., you are currently feeding him just under 5% of his body weight.
But when you say undigested pieces of meat are surviving the trip through his digestive tract, that makes me a little uneasy. I've seen my dog do that once or twice in the beginning, but not repeatedly. But then there is the possible overfeeding that could be causing this.
Let's see what others have to say.

Ok I went through Harley's paper work. He got to the shelter eating Dog Chow (don't know how much)and was leash walk for 30min total per day.
At the shelter he was on Royal Canin (6 cups)(had very soft poop) and was walk 30 to 60 min per day plus some times some play time with other dogs. He was at the shelter for 2 1/2 months
Now he get 2hrs of leash walk/run in the wood and or play with me fetch or tug. Then he has fee time suppervising me while I muck the barn (he stand, walk, sat once but never lay down) and follow me during turn out and turn in. So that is an other 3 to 4 hours. So he is in his crate when I ride and if it is too cold for him while I teach.
He was 69# when he got to the shelter, was 66# when I got him in november and now 63#
Will try to get pictures

I too say "link us to a Photobucket-type picture."
Also a picture of the dog's present body shape.
Also, have you ever tried 3 meals rather than 2?
And let's review this carefully: "With your dog weighing 63 lbs., you are currently feeding him just under 5% of his body weight." To the O.P., if it's easier for you to give us metric, please do it, so we can all agree on how much you are actually feeding per day.

Are you sure the red stuff in the poop is muscle, or could it be bone marrow chunks from the leg quarters?
You can increase the fat in the diet gradually. If you add too much fat without enough bone/calcium the stool will get loose. Fat will put weight on a dog much more easily than just feeding lean muscle meat.

Ditto on the fat.
Not yet, though. Not until the other questions are sorted out.

Is the balance in his diet ok? Sounds like too much bone to me.
A chicken leg quarter and chicken neck are quite bony...wondering if he is not digesting all the bone and some of it is showing up in his poop...but not sure how much beef you give him on other days.
Also, maybe consider some digestive enzymes to help him digest his food more effectively.
Odd question (well, to non-dog people anyways...), but how much is he pooping per day?
