Katie, I'm a neophite a this, but from what little I've read, she seemed to do really well! Head stayed down, she kept on the track, backtracked a few times but from what I've read, that is normal for a newbie! I'm inspired to get working on this myself - thanks for posting!!

I have a hard time making any constructive comments because I'm just not use to this method of teaching tracking. LOL
I do see her using her nose and I saw her self correct back on to the track a couple of times which for me are major. I know personally I just love it when a dog self corrects.

Thanks to ya both!! I can't wait to see videos of you and Falcom, Barbara!
Betty, that's my favorite part! I'm really starting to be able to read when she loses the track and when she finds it too, even when it's subtle. I really like tracking a lot more than I thought I would!
Very nice! I am wondering, would your other tracks in the yard interfere with Danni's tracking? Maybe she didn't lose track but followed an older track? And then returned to the most recent one - the one that contains food? We haven't run into this problem since we don't have a yard Guess some problems are good to have!

I'm not sure on the circle tracking but I know Katie when I started dogs on tracking I would go to an area that I knew I hadn't walked on recently so not to confuse the dog with an accidental track.
