We're in the path of the monster blizzard. It is snowing and blowing like crazy outside. I step out to grab some more wood let Kipp out to go potty. All he wants to do is play frisbee. I threw it for him once and told him to get back inside I'm not as impervious to the weather as he is.
I'll take them out tomorrow to burn off some energy in the resulting drifts.

find it games and tug are good indoor stuff you can do
We are getting that same snowstorm, Mara...I took my pup over to my in-laws to get out of the house a bit. We hung out while my hubby and my nephew shoveled for them. The older dogs are content to hang in the house And just think...I thought Sunday felt kinda springy!

I'm mean. I told them to go take a nap. I've got papers to write so they can suffer along with me.
They did get a good game of frisbee early this afternoon before it all started. And tonight they're getting their dinner bit by bit in kongs. So they're not suffering too much. Should be cleared up enough to go out and play by tomorrow afternoon.
It's been coming down (no, actually going sideways!) here for about four hours now. There's not a lot of accumulation yet, but I think that's because the wind is blowing at a pretty good clip.
My dogs don't want to even go near the back door. I guess I'm going to have to put on my Arctic gear and go outside with them for one more potty tonight. If I don't, they won't leave the deck! Then again in the morning (hopefully, I can open the back door).
We ended up with about 15 inches here, which is unheard of!!! 3 inches shut down the schools for two days a couple of weeks ago.
Our back porch has snow up to the base of the chairs and it is up to the side step things on my explorer.
The dogs have been pretty good today, Loki has only done a little bit of rolling around and moaning.
The cat on the other hand is driving us nuts, walking around howling and I've got him trying to mark a couple of times.
I made some tin foil balls and pulled out some ribbon to try to get some energy out
We woke up to no electricity (and our high today was about -5), but Sutter still thought it was fun to go terrorize the squirrels for a while. Usually he just gives me dirty looks and snuggles up by the heat register when it's this cold. Elec. is back on, obviously.

Why don't you kill two birds with one stone? Marker train the dogs to hunt the cat. Then everyone gets a workout.
That would be entertaining!
The dumb cat actually did go outside a few minutes ago when I tried let the dogs out.
My son tried to go out and play when it stopped snowing, he took one step outside and it was over his knees and he was back in
