Heading out today for a 2-week camping trip with the four dogs. We're pointing the RV south, headed to the Florida Keys. Cross your fingers for good weather and if any of you southerners see a camper with 4 dogs drive by, give us a wave.
PS--in case you're wondering why gas prices have gone up recently, that's my fault. As soon as we plan an RV trip, that's when gas prices peak. Never fails.
OH YOU LUCKY DUCKS!!!! I am hoping so much I live long enough for something like retirement, some sun in winter, OMG that would be so great, not leaving your dogs, it's a dream to me.
That does sound like fun Tracy. Can’t think of any better way to spend a vacation.
Our neighbor’s lab/rottie has joined our pack for the next 4 months so we’ll be a four dog unit out there too for the upper westerners. Waving is always fun, just don’t touch.
Tracy,
I have a whole pack of friends (two of the 5 are from Minnesota) doing the exact same thing right now. So, if you see a group of people with 8 Briards down in Key West, tell them that this Tracy says "hi"!
Have a great trip Tracy! I love the Keys. Make sure you stop in to
Ernest Hemigway's old stomping grounds " Sloppy Joes" just for nostalgia purposes, it is pretty cool there.
I was there when they were having their annual 'Hemingway look alike contest. It was just a riot to see so many guys all walking around with big, long gray beards.

Actually the original Sloppy Joes was where Capt Tony's use to be, don't know if the bar is still there or not. That was actually the place Hemingway hung out.
Capt Tony was a character. After I left the keys I saw he was elected mayor of Key West. That had to be something. ROFL
