My breed club has a magazine that comes out quarterly and after I lost Poe, I reserved the cover of the spring issue to honor him. I thought I would share the photo that will be on the cover:
Ironically, this photo was one of my "rejects" for my 2009 holiday card but I kept coming back to it and with some photoshop "magic" I have come to love this photo of Poe and I together.
Aaron - ACDs are a great breed if you put the time and energy into them - not so different from a GSD :-) Let me know if your GF ends up looking for an ACD. I have a lot of contacts in your area for good breeders.
