I watched the latest newsletter Lindsay Sommers video last night. Each time I see one of those training videos it inspires me to get back out and work harder.
I've been wimping out of working the dogs on my school campus. It's still freezing cold here and I'm not dressed for outdoor work when I go to school. But today I made it a point to get out and work the dogs on campus after classes. It felt good - Gonna try to keep it up!

I know -I really like watching Lindsay...and with all the rain we've been having lately I've been wondering what it'd be like to have access to an indoor training facility like that -my sister is actually building a compound in the midwest!
I resorted to PetsNotSoSmart, Barnes & Noble and Home Depot yesterday, but there's only so much you can do in those places. I need access to a big empty building or hopefully (soon) an indoor arena.
You can bring dogs in Barnes and Noble?!?!?!??????
It's a individual management decision. So it never hurts to ask.
The college campus is a great training environment. The only problem is it's been so.cold.here.
Anyways, my goal is to have a focused Kenzi pup while working near the walkways between the buildings by the end of summer. Which means I've got to get busy!!
me too, I envied her starting out so young working with dogs. Other things came into my life and redirected it, so I am excited to see her working with dogs and she does implement the training techniques of Michael very well. Love seeing the pups and the people working them.
I would love to have in indoor work area. it has been raining here alot too. ANd it would be helpful to be in a cool building during the heat too.
