We have a brand new, never used 280NP collar and remote. Is is possible to use the new battery from the 280 in the 1900 transmitter? If not, does anyone know where you would purchase the batteries? I could not find them on this site with the ecollars.

I had to go to the DogTra website to find the Batries, the bastards didn't put the type/size in there so you could buy cheaper ones and have to buy thiers

It shows you the battery along with the price. I think yours is 17.95 The battery is BP-12RT I think it is the same battery. The model numbers for which the battery can be used is listed below the battery Sorry I goofed up. I looked at the transmitter batteries.

I rigged up my own charger with a 12V car battery trickle charger and pins I bought at the indian equivalent of radio shack. It works really well. Dennis, how you got so much more life out of it? I would like to know too.
