Hello All!!!

My name is Sarah and I just want to say how happy I am to have found such a wonderful website and dog forum! I am a dog trainer and dog groomer that is self-employed. My hobby is spending time with my dogs and other animals. I breed tarantulas, own a few snakes, and have 2 cats along with my 2 dogs.

I own a standard poodle and a giant schnauzer. My poodle, Tucker, is 14 months old and loves people just a little too much. When we first brought him home, we socialized him the wrong way...the only way we where told in classes, let everyone meet him and let him meet every dog. We are in the process of re-training him and things are going great. I now train with a prong and he is so much more responsive not to mention that the engagement we now have together is getting better as well. He use to hate training and now loves it. I couldn't be happier.

My schnauzer, Thor, is 12 weeks old and is doing amazing! Everyone that sees him thinks he's a full grown mini because of how well behaved he is. Even my friends, that saw this little hellian whne he first came home, can't beleive the improvement that he has made in just 3 weeks of owning him.

I am looking for anyone close to my area (Muskegon, Michigan) that trains in Agility, Schutzhund, Mondioring, or French Ring as I would really like to train my dogs in a few of these sports. (Tucker - Agility, Therapy Dog, CGC & Thor - Shutzhund, Therapy Dog, CGC) I have plans on getting a GSD as well that I would like to train in Mondioring or French Ring and would like to get some more experience training in these sports first.
