Do you provide any type of toy to help keep his attention.
How about filling a Kong with a mixture of cream cheese and peanut butter to entertain him? You can put it in the freezer beforehand and it should get his interest.
Does the dog get some exercise before you put him in the crate before work?
hi joyce i am going to try the kong tomorrow with his dog food he gets soft stools with peanutbutter. i will exercise him for an hour before i go to work. thanks alot i will let you know how it works out. thanks joe.

You can also use plain low-fat yogurt in the kong, frozen with kibble in it.
We just made a bunch of them, using plain yogurt, peanut butter (just a little, for a delicious smell), coconut oil, kibble, probiotics, plus a Zanax for the separation anxiety dog)
