This is just a little thank you to all of you who proudly display pictures of your dogs on here. I am a constant peruser of shelter websites and my kids know that those dogs need homes. Tonight my daughter said "Oh no! All of those awesome dogs need homes too?!?" I was on Leerburg and was able to tell her that no, these dogs have loving homes that would do anything to help them. Also that many of the people here help other people with their dogs by offering advice. She looked amazed and so excited to hear that. So thank you for showing a kid that other grown-ups still care about dogs.

How old is she?
You know, we can never know what weird little things will remain forever in the child's mind ..... I know that some of the most clear-as-day memories of my own, even from half a century ago (or more!), are often of the smallest, most seemingly mundane comments and occurrences .....
But still, I'd bet money that a discovery like that, explained as you explained it, will be permanent and prominent among the immense input that molds her character.
She's 8, Connie and an animal lover through and through from her horses to the corn snake she is saving for. The handsome dog bears a striking resemblance to a mill dog we rehabilitated. A pug x jack russel named Bruiser. Adorable in their own ways
Thanks for including me Steve. It's so great to be a little part of this awesome forum.
