I followed the directions on the mini nail clipper from LB it's the millers clipper. I used the safety bar!!! I still drew blood and I applied pressure. It won't stop bleeding. It's not shooting blood it's just seeping out. Please help me stop it. I'm pretty upset because I followed directions. I've cut dogs nails before and never had this happen.
For the love of.... Nick, in the time that you post here you could google this AS HAS BEEN STATED TO YOU BEFORE. Yes, I am shouting. If you can't even be a self-starter and google these things yourself, I don't think you can't handle dog ownership. Sorry to be blunt but there it is.
Here is the link that you could not look up yourself:
I got the bleeding to stop by applying pressure. Nick was out getting corn starch during this time. Gambit is under control. We are taking corn starch off in about 10 minutes (its been on for 5 minutes now). He will be fine. I don't know why Nick even posted this instead of googling. *He just told me now* He thought he'd get quicker results from asking here.... :-?
Ok, here's how to do the pups nails, really simple and no chance to cut the quick. The tool is the dremel stylus with the drum sander attachment http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0TmZu9Ec8lE
I picture Nick passed out in the corner and Heather with a "WTF?" look on her face. Or maybe a round of high fives and tearful embraces once the bleeding was under control.
That must've been a tense .00096523 seconds waiting for Google to return 2,987,674 matches for "dog nail bleeding".
