Bobbi-jo Cefalo Webboard User Reg: 04-30-2006 Posts: 24 Loc: Haverhill, Ma Offline	Hi everyone, I have been a pet dog trainer for awhile now (started mentoring when I was still in high school at 16 yrs old). I mentored for 3 yrs before I began training clients- my first being my mentors parents 2 rescues! Having been doing pet dog training for awhile (and too many puppy classes to count!), I'd like to expand my training mind more. I have worked with puppies, adults with basics, adults with behavior problems and some aggression issues. My personal dogs for reference: One of my dogs is a therapy dog, the other will be getting her CGC soon and my puppy is still working on basics. I am highly motivated to learn protection work but most places wont event look at me based on- I think: I'm 5ft tall....err, short!), I'm a girl and have no protection experience. What can I do to get noticed?

Life's too short to deal with jerks :-p As someone who is only 5'4, I know where you are coming from ;-) With that said, my club loves to use anyone - no matter the size - when working with young puppies etc. So as long as you go into the adventure with the understanding that no one is going to let you catch dogs on the first day, I think you will have the opportunity to learn a lot. http://www.psychtkennel.com
