Since I got Harley, my injury rate has been going up.
So far 2 black eyes, one sprin knee, and today a broken toe playing fetch bear foot on the beach.
I don't count bruises and scrapes. I have been working with horses for many years and never got so many injuries!
I must be winning the clumsy owner award today. 75# dog takes off after a ball and leaves me with a broken toe.
Sorry to hear about your bad luck, Ariane. Hope your toe heals fast. One of my dogs tripped my husband when we were walking at the park, he put his hand out to break the fall, and got a broken finger.
On the bright side, I bet your dogs really appreciate all the fun activities you do with them! They have a funny way of showing it, though.
Great cardio too my 43 pound puppy has done more for my upper body than any gym could. The bruises make everyone think I'm being beat. My monster has almost drug me down the stairs a few times so I started reading articles and now she sits and follows me down the stairs and out the door. We don't move until she is calm. Good luck, hope that toe heals fast.
Good, I'm not the only one.
I look like a domestic violence victim at times - I'm single, not even dating.
GW has cut down on a lot of minor injuries, though.
Broken toes hurt. Get well soon!
I haven't had any broken bones yet but I am famous for rope burns around my ankles! I use this light cotton rope to tether my pup to me when outside. Bouncy pup + super cluts = scars up and down my legs. I couldn't even participate in our church sponsered blood drive! Too many abrasions. LOL! On the bright side, the more I work with him the less he gets tangled up with me.
I told my husband it was a good thing he was deployed, because everyone would assume he was beating me. The trainer pointed out yesterday why my little monster was jumping on me yesterday during training. Everytime I would raise the tone in my voice she would jump up on me. She told me to find a medium tone and she'd stop. I guess my happy voice just get's her too stimulated.
