tunnel vission..nothing is going to stop me from getting THAT in my mouth, who cares about the other toy, throw it throw it throw it, or i might never be able to stop shaking, squirle who?, i don't want a darn treat, lost my mind when you said ready...kinda addiction.
started out going for gold in schutzhund but have taken a step back to kinda let Ace be a puppy and for me to enjoy him! tell ya what, i was so stressed out that i would screw him up or do somthing wrong in his training, that i DID screw up. so i have just been working on OB, swimming, playing frisby, and not only am I enjoying him more...but he's become less of a chore and more of a complete joy to do things with.
so I am just taking things slow with his training, not stressing, even thought about doing some herding or maybe tending turns out 100+ deg heat doesn't slow Ace down. and heat stroke isn't somthing i want him to experiance. so we wont be starting anything like that till the fall.
But I have talked to a schutzhund club in OK who have been SUPER nice, and from what i've seen they seem like a great group. might be making weekend trips up that way too.so we are still going to get a few titles some day. He might be the only 3 year old getting his first title...but at least he won't be stressed out by me.
I would LOVE to see some "updated" pics of your QT pie!

I hear you! I'm taking our obed training slowly as well. Panzer is a lot different from my older dog, who was a snap to train. She isn't nearly as food motivated, so I was forced to make sessions very very short and fun to keep her interest. She is improving at a faster pace now, but I'm in no hurry either.
We just spent the weekend camping out with a group of French Ring people, so I'll be uploading some puppy bite work pics!

She is a tough little princess! Thanks! I got a picture of her with the offending dog the other day. Little stinker has NO fear of him. Plops right down next to him to pet/say hi. I'll try and post it on my thread.
