My housemate has taken almost 2000 pictures of the dogs and recently turned them over to me for reference material for a graphic novel I'm working on....she gave me permission to share a few of them
Here's Ryuk (my dog) and Rico (her dog) goofing around in the yard. Since these photos Rico's grown legs....it's sort of odd he moves so much smoother (still has no idea he's got a butt though....)
Great pictures! I love the "Revenge" one, too. That look on Ryuk's face is priceless. Ryuk and Rico seem to have turned into great friends. I love to see two dogs having fun together like that. Funny, just last evening, my two were play wrestling, and I remarked to my husband that I didn't know what we did before we had two dogs; they're so entertaining!
They are pretty good buddies at this point. We're treating their interactions like play dates even though both dogs live in the same house. Both dogs have completely independent handlers. Rico's a bit of a bully but it's more a lack of early socialization and training and he's improved ten fold, he can play with the right kind of other dog now with no issue. He's come leaps and bounds (literally...we're still trying to direct them away from peoples' knees...) since he got here and maturing into a great dog.
The comic project is still in it's baby steps (story written, first section scripted, character designs in progress, first page penciled) Right now I've got a stack of concept art. It's been a fun experiment so far. As soon as there's something up in the gallery other than dogs doodled haphazardly across paper in various media (aka: first few pages are up) I'll share the DA link
