I just heard that over 20 members of the troops killed in the helicopter attack were members of SEAL Team 6.

May the sob(s) who felt it prudent to release the identify of the team responsible for killing UBL never sleep another night in their entire life. Makes me sick to my stomach.

Guys, Pakistani's provide logistical and financial support to the Taliban. They are pinching the baby and rocking the cradle at the same time.

I am sure that the Chinook was not brought down by a RPG by your average "Abdul 6 pack" . USSF are not stupid enough to fly within range of RPGs. You need guided missiles like "Igla" or "Stinger" to bring down the Chinook.

Pakistan maintains packs of terrorists it calls "tanzeems". These are army regulars, ex-army guys who are trained, supported by the paki army and are used to cause terror and destruction with plausible deniability. These tanzeems are funded by the Saudis and other Middle east countries.

Most Americans don't know the perfidy that is Pakistan-Afghanistan.


Wait and watch for the details to emerge about the downing of the Chinook, and you will be surprised.

Pakistani army , they run with the hares and the hounds.

Bringing peace and democracy to Af-Pak region is IMPOSSIBLE. The best strategy for the US in my humble opinion, is to pull out of that region, form a broad coalition with the NATO/India/Israel and take out the pakistani nukes(Like how Israel did with Iraq). Withdraw all assistance , seal their border and let "Nature take it's course".

USA should understand that you are wasting your blood and gold on a lost cause. Democracy/Openness/Equal rights/Multiculturalism etc. etc. cannot be brought to Af-Pak( If I explain why I may be accused of being an Islamaphobe/Racist). You can build them up for 50 years and they will be back to square one in 50 minutes.


So, please please cut your losses and get out. It is not worth fighting them.

You won't be accused of being either an Islamaophobe or Racist by me. You are, sadly, very correct in what you say as well as in what you don't say.

Honestly this whole thing is very sad. I wish Obama would get off his high horse and just call Chuck Norris so that this thing would come to an end and all my fellow military members could come home!!!!!!!

As a Veteran of 22 years, I cry in my soul, every time a military person goes down for the belief he holds dear. I see my young soldiers here in my community, I have a talk about anything we can discuss, and I always part with, take care stay low.

These brave 19 year olds, they believe the can make a difference, make it right, do the things that most would not want to.
