And to second Kelly's question: Why the Large breed formula?

And you know you don't have to pick ONE food, right? Nothing wrong with rotating different food for variety. Also important with kibble, IMO.

Another vote for Orijen. Michael has a point though. You could also try each one for a period of time and see which one your dog does best on.

Alot of grain in the Solid Gold. Even though it is not corn...but still, alot of grain(fillers).

I guess since I feed raw...I am not really a fan of grain in dog food. They don't need it & you are spending money on fillers in the kibbles that contain them. JMHO

I would definitely go with the Orijen.

If I were a kibble feeder, I would rotate kibbles and add fresh ingredients whenever possible.

I personally rotate through all flavors of Orijen that I can find, and certain TOTW kibble's. If I get my hands on something else of decent quality that is grain free (free from work) I'll feed that too.

Michael, Tabatha, and Anne already said it- Variety is KEY in kibble! Makes for a happy dog, when they never know what is in the bowl.

The frank manipulation in the ingredient list is irritating.
If the bag said that the contents were USDA cleared for human consumption that would be meaningful.
It could be great food--just cranky about how the ingredients are described in such a way that you have to believe it's wonderful -- e.g. "fresh" chicken, etc.
