She didn't just tie him up and leave him for a friend to take care of - that's her "story" now. She stuffed him in a trash bag and dropped him 19 stories down a garbage chute! The only reason he survived was a garbage man saw some movement in a bag, and fearing it might be a human baby, tore it open and called animal services.
She was just handed a grand jury indictment for felony animal cruelty and goes to court Dec. 3.

Only 18 months - for doing THAT to a living creature. Unbelievable. When he was found, he weighed 19 pounds. Now, he weighs 51. That's nearly 1/3 of his weight. I'm sorry, but that dog didn't get into that condition overnight being tied to a staircase. It took time...
If I had to choose between killing my own dog and doing that (what is in the picture) to him, I will gladly kill my dog. That is horrific!!!! Shit!!!! What did that dog do.
I am sure this human treats all life the same way. I would say that her brain is not working properly and she should not be breeding.

Unfortunatley there are a lot of people out there who think "it's just a dog". But this kind of cruelty is frightening. I sure hope she doesn't reproduce, I fear for the children. That scum bag bitch doesn't deserve jail and death would be to kind, legal rights or human rights should not apply to these type of people even natural rights.
Medieval times or eye for an eye should apply.

I do not think she even needs to be punished. She needs to be psychologically evaluated and given a supervised life where she cannot be near any thing that is less powerful than her.

I can not believe he looked like that and lived. What a tough, brave boy!!
(and I fuss at my year old male for being a little thin. Sheesh - I just upped him to two meals daily because I felt badly that I could see hip bones.)
