You know those folks with out of control, off leash dogs? The ones who scream "Oh, He's FRIENDLY!!", or "He just wants to say HI!" from a half mile away?
Read this. Totally worth it. I promise. I won't let you down, it's awesome.
My dog is 100% a DINOS. (Now you've got to check the link, right? What the heck is a DINOS?)
Read this earlier today... it was amusing. I loved the way it was written. And really don't appreciate those people with their uncontrollable "friendly" dogs. lol
I got a kick out of that, Kelly. It is so true. Thanks for posting. Now I have a name for my too-overly-stimulated-in-the-presence-of-other-dogs dog: He's a DINOS.

Love it.
Here's my problem with those people: I walk five dogs at a time. I've got five leashes in one hand, everybody lined up in a particular order and we're marching along nicely minding our own business.
No. We don't want to stop and "meet" your dog. By the time everybody has introduced themselves, all my leashes have been turned into a macrame project, you and your dog will be gone and I'm left on the sidewalk trying to get Cox's Army headed in the right direction again. Just keep moving. Mine will ignore yours if you just do the same, thanks.
Porter and I met that person at a recent "Light the Night" walk for Leukemia ... this guy held Porter's head while gazing directly into his eyes saying "Yes, you like me, you can tell I've handled your breed before, huh?"
HUH?? Porter's a German Shepherd! How many GSD's do you know that want their head held and direct eye contact from a stranger? My sweet boy handled himself gracefully while I did a little leash trick to cut off their contact ... jeeze!
