Hey guys.. it's been quite some time since my last puppy, but I got my Apollo last night. With the help and advice from the many members of this forum, we have made accommodations for a new pup. He's pretty big and full of energy.
He's had his first set of shots. My vet recommends waiting every 4 weeks between shots. That's about standard right? I cant wait to bring him outside of the yard... but of course, I dont want him to get sick...

Congratulations on the new bubba, I love the smell and feel of a new wee pup, that lovely soft belly and clean, smooth pads, and sweet breath, best pick- me- up in the world - new life, lovely!

You're kind of opening a much bigger topic than "4 weeks between." Between how many sets of what vax?
also, he drinks a lot of water... A LOT. I'll put down a water bowl and he'll finish it. I could refill and he'd knock that out too. and he doesnt stop, he drinks until its empty... should I let him get his water fix, or should I draw a line?

IAMS vet formula. The litter had soft stool so the breeder switched the food and this has been working. I wanted to switch to THK and eventually go to raw
