I hope this doesn't set my dogs training back to far but we recently had their pictures including our foster taken with Santa. In my denfense, it was my nine yro daughter's idea as she thought all of them would like to see Santa. My hubby isn't in the pic but was present to help walk dogs in and out of the buliding. I was hoping to use it as our Christmas card as the proceeds from the photo shoot went to the humane society and our Agicultural heritage museum. Even Hobbes did well and so did our other Problem child, Trigger. Balto hammed it up in Santa's arms and Pongo sat near Santa's chair like she belonged there. Has anyone else done anything like this here? Picture link below.
Nice-looking pack! I didn't realize you had so many black Labs. You're very brave to admit what you've done and to share it with the whole forum, no less!
Thanks! Yep, our house consists of the sea of black lab/mixes. Of the five dogs pictured, four of them are ours, three of which are black, and Nitro ( the one farthest from Santa) is our long term foster as apparently few people will even look at a 5yro food aggressive dog. Seeing the pic made it worth it, although my hubby asked if I really was insane when we walked into the buliding and 20-30 other dogs under varying degrees of control were already there considering 2 to 3 of the big ones can be touchy around strange dogs.
The Pet Santa Photos were cancelled due to lack of organization on our HS's part. My son was really upset that he wouldn't get his picture with Santa and the dogs.
Super cute photo and I am glad everyone co-operated for you!
Have to admit, it's entered my mind, crossing that fine insanity line with my gang but the potential for a tailoring bill keeps those irrational thoughts well at bay.
Santa looks likes a great big Tuffy stuffy and something tells me he wouldn't stand up as well or be as forgiving.
