I am on a French bulldog forum and a member has problems with her two males fighting so another member tells her at one time he had two male boxers and they were very aggressive to each other so his vet gave them injections of female hormones to stop the aggression and he said it worked they never fought again! THis to me seems crazy! I would rather rehome a dog than to mess with its body chemistry. He said he couldn't remember which hormones it was either. I just don't know what to think!
I have heard of that, a Bichon was given girl hormones for his anxiety or something. I can't remember if it worked but what happened to common sense training? What about separating?
A tired dog is a good dog, a trained dog is a better dog.

I don't know what to think either. No positive reaction is rushing to my brain, though.

Was this supposed to be in lieu of neutering?
Wow, seems ridiculous to me.

99% of the time an owner has a problem with two dogs fighting, regardless of sex combination, it's a training/leadership issue.
The hormone injections are an easy cop out or BS.
I totally agree. Frenchies are no different than any other dogs just cause they are small they still need proper leadership and training. I think the boxers were fixed as well and it didn't help. I wanted to say alot of stuff but i decided not to stir things up lol. It was done and over with along time ago for that guy but I did give the other person with the Frenchie problem my opinion on the situation.
