Reading along, have to go back to work --- someplace it mentions that English Setters were crossed with Dachshunds ---
That's about as senseless as ACD/chihuahua.....
I wonder why they suggested that Eng Setter and Dachshunds were recently crossed as opposed to came from similar ancestors...and at least they did say the "dachshunds used in the study"...and what do they mean "recent" anyway? I skimmed over it a lot, and genetics is not a current strong point for me.
I say its all crap because there was not one mention of Dutch Shepherds in that.
