Took a few pics while the sun is shining, and the fields are dry again, always a bonus! Knowing how the weather is here in the UK, I thought I had better make the most of it and get some photos!
HA! What you have to realize is this week is probably all the summer we will get here, this English sunshine is a fleeting visitor, and compared to the heat you chaps get in parts of the US, we reached the giddy heights of 70 Fahrenheit this week, so it is tolerable and a bit of a novelty!

You Brits didn't have a Hell to send people to so you sent them to Virginia
One of many things for which we surely owe you an apology
Though the most heinous and unforgivable thing we sent you is Piers Morgan, and there are no words to describe how desperately sorry we are for that doozy!
You Brits have some of the best gardens on the planet with your weather. I love the cottage garden style.
In the 90s here today and 97F is expected tomorrow. That's usually July and August stuff. We even had a bit of the 90s back in January.
Crazy weather this year!
Yes I'm having to mow the lawn twice a week at the moment, and the crops in the fields are sky high, even though we have a hosepipe ban!
Rain and cooler weather is forecast for Wednesday onward!
I vaguely remember temps like you are having, back in the 70's I think we had a couple of months of it, I can't imagine how the dogs would cope in that sort of heat, the Boerboels seem to like it well enough at the moment, maybe it's in their DNA as they hail from SA?? The Pointers are not as keen, and I have to keep them in the shade in the garden, and walk them early morning and evening, I imagine you have to be a lot more careful with your dogs in parts of the US in this heat!
Observed high here yesterday was 98 degrees F with I don't wanna know what kind of humidity. My AC unit is terrified of the summer right now. I keep muttering 'but it's MAY' to myself.
