I am amazed how different my puppy is from day to day. Yesterday, he wasn't nearly as responsive to training. Today, he's listening!!
I know I am not the same either. But he is definitely different. A plastic bag spooked him until I let him check it out. Certain things have caught his attention that he never noticed before.
Mine aren't puppies anymore, but I do remember having similar experiences. Then and even once in a while nowadays, they will do something (maybe good, maybe bad), and I will look at them and think, "Who are you and what did you do with MY dog?

LOL! Ramsey! I have a old video of Logan when he was young trying to attack the camera and me....I said "crazy animal!" and turned it off. Or something like that.
A tired dog is a good dog, a trained dog is a better dog.

i picked up Henry from the airport last friday . he was shipped out from boywood border collies . he is a red / white smooth coat .
so far , i've seen the weary traveller , the hungry peasant , the humble , yet enthusiastic fan ( of hector ) , the bold explorer , and the keen learner .
we're heading to michael ellis next week .. . looking forward to it !
