Oh Ram, he's so cute. I love that big feet, long spindly leg stage. And it never ceases to amazes me how graceful they can be, plodding along with all that floppiness.
He looks so happy and attentive. And not to negate his intelligence in any way (which looks amazing) but personally, I think a lot of their smarts come from the way they're taught and handled.
You're such a good teacher. You break it down so nicely, making it an enjoyable and understandable experience for him.
Smart owner creating a very smart puppy. You guys look great!!
Ram, nice looking pup and I agree, you work so well with your dogs. Have to tell you, I clicked on the video and was not only paying attention to you and the pup, but also listening for (and poised to hit "mute")any barking dogs which will normally cause Falcon to "answer"... No barking dogs in the vid and no barking Falcon here - however, he did come into the room with a deep growl and look at me then go to the window and continue to rumble a deep growl. I couldn't figure it out until my husband, asked "are there crows in that video?" and sure enough - it at least sounds like crows in the background. Falcon HATES crows (and vultures - all other birds are okay) so he had come into the room to try and scope out the crows.
looking good ram . . . one thing i noticed : " yes " as a mark is used to release the dog from the behaviour . tells the dog , " i like what you've done , you can stop now , here's your reward " . there are a couple of times in there where you have the dog in a sit , you are saying " yes " , and the dog remains in a sit .
" good " , or some other signal to add duration . that's the one i keep catching myself on ; after about the third repeat , i find myself marking and delivering at the same time . . . D'oh !
Thank you barbara. Sadha is a very nice boy. Even my dogs do not like crows.
Ian, thank you for your feed back. I will try to incorporate as much of it as I can.
On a lighter note, You have to understand that I am a 120 Kg man with a bad left ankle training in 40C temperatures. So I have to go a little light on the "make motivation" thing.

Ram~ I enjoyed your video. I also live in a hot climate. You must only train early morning or evening?
I live in the tropics. It is 90F at 8.00 AM with about 85% humidity. During nights it drops down to 87F. The moisture in the air retains the heat, day or night.
Yes I try to train before 9 AM and after 5.30 PM . But still temperatures will hover around 90F , during day time it will touch 104 F
