I train dogs full time but not for detection, I just do the detection stuff for fun... Well a few days ago, I let my dogs out for a walk at my local park. Instantly they were all over a truck in the parking lot. This absolutely caught me off guard because they were full of energy needing a run and were not told to search. So I had them search the truck they both alerted on the back of the truck. At which point I called my friend who is a police officer. He called me back after running the plate and checking into things A man was found unconscious in the back of the truck bed. All this to say, trust your dogs as I almost walked right past the truck. Thank you BB and Dax for most likely saving a mans life. http://www.unleashedpotential.ca

How receptive we are and what we do with that information is another story. I think most people that saw a dog jumping around a stranger's truck would probably correct it for unwanted behavior. The fact that you took the time to listen to your dogs, trust what they were telling you and act on their actions is very commendable. Again, job well done, by all!!
