Hi, my 16 week old puppy has just been diagnosed with Generalized Demodex. The Vet. put her on Ivermectin and I am not so sure I am comfortable with this med.
Does anybody have any natural or holistic remedies they can suggest or any supplements I should have her on. Any suggestions and ideas are welcome or suggested Internet sites with information.
I am also very upset because we had taken her in for her 16 week vaccinations including her Rabies shot and because of the Demodex situation the Vet. said to hold off on the vaccinations and the Tech. didn't hear her right and vaccinated my poor puppy. Should I be concerned about this????

Sounds frustrating and you have my sympathies.
But don't be too quick to discount the ivermectin. It really is (from my research and experience) a reliable treatment for demodex. And the med is well tolerated even at these high doses.
My pup Cinco was on a several-month course of daily high-dose ivermectin liquid to treat demodex and he had no ill effects, or side effects. His case was finally determined not to be demodicosis, so we eventually discontinued the med. But he tolerated the treatment just fine.
Logan *appears* to have a mild case of this right now after being on the antibiotics for so long. There's not one flea on him, I've checked and checked. Its not the contagious type otherwise I'd have it. He's not digging to the point of risking a skin infection but has lost a lot of undercoat on his underside, legs and face. The only part that is bloody is on his muzzle. His ears were icky too for the first time ever and I cleaned them out...that's the 1st time I have ever had to clean them.
I just started giving him probiotics and reishi mushroom capsules to boost his immunity. He's due to go to the vet for his yearly HW/tick disease test in a few Weeks. If its not getting better, I'll have the vet check it out. If it gets worse, I'll take him in early of course.
I also read that tea tree oil shampoo for dogs can help (although some argue that its toxic and in my grooming experience rarely some dogs react do to it). I also read that diluted ACV can help but I would think that stuff would sting a bit.
