Some of us are going through it now, some have just lost a beloved dog... it's never easy. Sometimes it helps to know you aren't alone, though.
I've shared many of my own losses and tears with the members here. We are like a family here- we are brought together by the common bond of the love of a dog...
Maybe there is someone here that is close to you. I'm in West Central WI. If nobody is physically close, don't be afraid to PM someone. I can't think of anybody on here that won't be supportive if you reach out.
Just don't think you need to go through this alone...

I want to add to what Kelly says that you should not think you must go through a PTS alone.
"I've shared many of my own losses and tears with the members here. We are like a family here- we are brought together by the common bond of the love of a dog... "
I know of a few members who are going through this right now. You're not alone, even if you don't reach out.
I know I'll be thinking of you and your beloved girl every morning and every night, whether you post back or not.
Brianah, I don't know what you're going through, but I do know the feeling, both related to difficult events with my dogs, and of course other aspects of life.
I hope you'll let us know how you're doing, when you feel like talking. Many of us on this board will have you in our thoughts.
Sending you positive thoughts and prayers. There is something very comforting about surrounding yourself with people who really do understand and can offer support. It helped me immensely when I had to have my heart dog put to sleep earlier this year. I do hope there is a better solution for your dog and you don't have to go through this.
