God bless leerburg leads. I could not live without one now.
Yesterday i noticed a client had a very worn out brown leerburg lead! This is NO mistaking a leerburg lead.
Looked like it had gone through everything and back again.
Still stood up WAY stronger to EXTREME pullers than any other leash i have come along.
The dog who owned the lead is prob about 10 years.. The lead holds up like brand new.
My 1inch by 6 foot, black amish leather leerburg lead is constantly used.
It is my number one blessing in life.
From poms all the way to akitas the leash doesn't make a peep.
AND its quite attractive.
Even when used as an extreme tug for pits, akitas and dobermans.
Its getting even MORE attractive, rustic looking with age!
I just thought that you all would enjoy hearing how great this leash is... Lots of us have it right?
Who else on this forum has a LB leash?
I just ordered a six foot 3/4 inch leather leash and a 10 foot biothane leash from leerburg. My 42 pound ACD pup has already torn a "typical" nylon leash. Im looking forward to a leash I can count on.

YEAAAY!!! No more nylon!
I take my 1 inch 6 foot black amish leather learburg leash to EVERY house and show the all dog's owners.
Its just a shame they don't get it.... Maybe because they are paying ME to walk their dog.. and THEY are not walking all the time, that they don't understand how great a nice leash can be compared to cheap leashes like that BARBARIC nylon waste.
Why biothane though?
Sorry to say but the amish leather leads leerburg sells are way better.
Sure the boithane ones stay looking newer... and looking cleaner. But thats about it in my opinion.
With my first Mastiff, I used a red nylon leash from Petsmart. The snap came undone a few times and I had sore hands more than a few times.
My trainer took the nylon leash from me one day, gave me one of her leather leashes to use for a week. Yup! I was converted. I will never use a nylon leash again.
I currently have the double handle 6 foot one and love it! The double handle works great for when I need to keep my girl closer than usual.
And wow... that orange sure is ultra bright! Irreplaceable for safety when walking crowded areas, late nights, narrow roads filled a fast cars... wheres my credit card?!!!@
As Connie mentioned the boithane doesn't tangle as easy. I will be using it for SAR so I wanted a leash I could always depend on and I could easily clean with water while out in the middle of nowhere. I ordered the 6 foot leather leash for city use. Both leads are from leerburg so im sure they will be of exceptional quality.

That is my ultimate nightmare. My largest fear. No lie. I literally have nightmares of this happening with me to a dog that has NO recall, or one of the "viscous" dogs i walk.
Its unacceptable from a leash. Quality with a leash is life or death.

Ahh! Love em. Very convenient with dogs that are "iffy".
I really like the belt leashes. I like a shorter, thinner leash since my dogs aren't big and I usually keep them close to me when on a leash. I got the 44" and can wear it looped it around my shoulder when the dog is off leash.
