After "Adobe" was adopted by Candi Campbell, I was inspired by some photo's of "Simon" one of the rescued dogs on the website. I donated a painting of a dobe inspired by Simon to the rescue so they could use it in a fund raiser to help the dogs.

Took me a second to figure out what picture was the painting! Extraordinary piece.
Not to derail the thread, but do you do custom pictures for people? I would love to purchase one.

Thanks everyone...I hope it gets a lot of money for the rescue...please share this where you can. I really hope they find somebody for Simon, they said he was too dominant aggressive to place, but I'm sure there are folks out there that would know how to handle him.

We currently have 3 rescue Dobies from there: my son's Blue neuter & his Red spay, and my Black spay, ALL with their Natural-Born ears & tails -- I would really LOVE to adopt "Colossus" also (a Blue-Fawn neuter who's cropped & docked) ... I established & regularly underwrite "The Duke Fund for Dilutes, Ears & Tails" because Blues & Fawns (Isabellas) and uncropped/undocked Dobies often LANGUISH for YEARS in Rescue, since folks looking for a Doberman typically want dogs that resemble Zeus & Apollo from "Magnuim PI".
