I have a 10 week old Male GSD. I've read many articles on this site. I've been trying to feed the pup Inova however he doesn't like it and goes to the bowl of the other dog and eats Pedigree. Inova is expensive eventhough it's quality. Is there any other brands that would not be as costly that will be good for him?
I've also seen many of you feeding chicken wings. Is this raw chicken wings that you get at the supermarket? Do you give it to them raw or cooked with the skin on it and how many a day?
I am not feeding chicken wings but using necks and following Ed's recipie in his article on the site....so far quite good. No problems with eating and digesting the necks either.
We did use wings (and a lot of people prefer them to the necks) and their was not problem with eating them either. (They actually require a little more chewing work than the necks, it seems and are preferred by Billinghurst)----they are just so darned expensive down here compared to the necks.
Every dog thinks that what the other one has is better. If possible they want all of everything. If you are going to feed seperate diets crate the dogs so they can't switch bowls.
If you can't be a Good Example, then You'll just have to Serve as a Horrible Warning. Catherine Aird.
